Curriculum
Educators use the South Australian Curriculum, Standards and Accountability (SACSA) Framework when programming for your children. Children enter early childhood settings with a diverse range of knowledge, skills, values, attitudes and dispositions, reflecting the diversity of their backgrounds and experiences.
Primary Care Giving
Primary care giving describes a system of care that enables a secure emotional attachment to develop between a child and a significant adult in the child's life (their primary caregiver).
Primary care giving practices foster the development of relationships of trust, safety and support and the sharing of information between home and child care.
We believe supporting children's development and learning is a shared responsibility between family and childcare. Our aim is to develop a strong relationship with your family so that together we can support your child's learning and development and help them to feel that all aspects of their life are 'connected'.
Learning Stories
Learning stories are compiled using the South Australian Curriculum Standards and Accountability Framework. An individual portfolio containing learning stories is created for each child illustrating the exciting investigations and discoveries that the children are involved in. Your knowledge of your child is vitally important to us, as are the stories and events in your family's life, and there is provision made for you to share these with us in written form.
